NovaDrilling is proud to announce a new achievement in its work on the SHDNK2 project in the Aktobe region. The company recently completed a comprehensive drilling program, including geotechnical drilling with core orientation, hydrogeological surveys with single packers, acoustic telemetry and piezometer installation.

As part of the project, NovaDrilling specialists successfully installed piezometers in a hole of 1,050 meters, diameter HQ3, setting a new record in Kazakhstan for the depth of installation of piezometers. Previously, the deepest hole in Kazakhstan that successfully installed piezometers was 700 meters deep. This achievement demonstrates the company's technical expertise and ability to tackle complex drilling programs.

The project began in October 2022, was completed on time, and complied with safety and environmental requirements. In addition, NovaDrilling specialists found technical solutions to drill deep holes with complex geology efficiently.
